The dairy plant has processing capacity of 10,000 liters of milk per day. Equipments are available for the manufacture of a wide-range of concentrated and dried milk products, cheese and fermented milk products, fat rich dairy products, traditional dairy products and dairy by-products. These facilities also permit manufacture of an impressive range of formulated special dietary and convenience dairy products. A quality control laboratory for analysis of quality of milk and milk products is also available.
A state-of-art dairy plant with capacity to process 60000 litres of milk per day with facilities to manufacture liquid milk products, cheese and fermented milks, ice cream and ghee is available at NDRI campus for manufacture of these products on job work basis.
